Impact Projects
See below for any changes to your project impact rates for FY27.
Safe Housing for Australian Family Homelessness
Mission Australia's impact rate for providing a night of safe housing for families experiencing homelessness will increase from $29 to $50 per night.
This change reflects an increase in the operating costs required to deliver this vital program of supporting families with safe accommodation and wrap-around services.
Program costs have been stable in the past four years (remaining at $29 per night), making this adjustment necessary to maintain quality outcomes.
First Nations Youth Cultural Leadership Program
World Vision’s impact rate for providing First Nations Youth cultural leadership programs will reduce from $56 to $40 per day.
This is due to the higher uptake in student participation and therefore more impact delivered for less costs per student.
First Nations Women's Domestic Violence Healing Journey
Strong Women Talking’s impact rate for First Nations Women’s domestic violence healing journeys will increase from $33 to xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Maternity Care Appointments in Uganda
Love Mercy Foundation’s impact rate for providing a maternity care appointment will increase from $13 to $26 per appointment.
This change reflects the increase in operating costs for the Kristina Health Clinic where maternity appointments take place - as the facility has recently reached a 14-year goal of becoming a Level 4 clinic.
Women can now access surgeries, such as caesareans, via the new operating theatre. This is a huge win for local mothers and will save lives.
Water Well Repairs in Uganda
Love Mercy Foundation’s impact rate for repairing water wells in Uganda will increase from $300 to $345 to restore a well.
This project has increased its service offering. Previously completing simple well repairs and new drills, now the team on the ground undertake complex repairs for wells that have been built by others and require full restoration.
Education in Uganda
School For Life Foundation’s impact rate for providing school education in Uganda will increase from $2.56 to $3 per day.
This change reflects economic factors in Africa.
Regreen in Ethiopia
World Vision’s impact rate for providing Regreen land regeneration in Ethiopia will increase from $50 to $100 per hectare.
Following a comprehensive review of FMNR projects across more than 20 World Vision programs globally, World Vision has updated the planning estimate used to calculate restoration outcomes.
This updated figure has been informed by improved project data, field experience and external research. It provides a more accurate investment required to deliver long-term restoration outcomes in complex environments with complementary community support.
Child Sponsorship
World Vision's impact rate for providing child sponsorship has not changed and remains at $48 per child per month.
Start Up Loans
Opportunity International's impact rate for providing Start Up Loans in Indonesia has not changed and remains at $120 per loan.
